The Centre and its network produce academic publications and others, including written evidence to policymakers, that examine a broad array of topics within the area of information law and policy.

  • ILPC Director Dr Nóra Ni Loideain gave evidence as an expert witness to the European Parliament as part of its mission to London to assess the UK’s implementation of adequacy decisions issued under the EU GDPR and EU Law Enforcement Directive.   • ILPC Director Dr Nóra Ni Loideain gave evidence as an expert witness to the House of Lords EU Security and Justice Sub-Committee inquiry on Post-Brexit UK-EU Security Cooperation, policing, and data protection law (12 January 2021). The Committee published its findings (citing findings and recommendations made by Dr Ni Loideain) on the impact of Brexit for policing and security in the UK in its following report: Beyond Brexit: policing, law enforcement and security.
